The International Sin Tien Wu Chi Qi Gong & Original Yang Tai Chi Association

The International Sin Tien Wu Chi Qi Gong & Original Yang Tai Chi Association (ISOYA) is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the teachings of Grandmaster David Chin.  Its mission is to reach out and educate the public on both the value and health benefits of Original Yang (aka Guang Ping) Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

Tai Chi is renowned for its health benefits as a low-impact, weight-bearing form of exercise.  The Mayo Clinic states that “tai chi uses gentle flowing movements to reduce the stress of today's busy lifestyles and improve health.”

Health Benefits of Tai Chi

Tai Chi health benefits include improved overall physical condition, as well as increased muscle strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility.  Tai Chi’s health benefits are a central reason why it continues to grow in popularity, especially with senior practitioners.

Ongoing studies by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are still revealing new health benefits of Tai Chi, and how it helps for a variety of diseases and conditions through its slow, low-impact exercise. 2

Health Benefits of Qi Gong

Sin Tien Wuji Qi Gong promotes health by circulating the energy throughout the body.

Recent research has revealed numerous health benefits from Qi Gong.  Researchers from the University of California, Irvine, have confirmed and extended studies on how Qi Gong is effective in refreshing and relaxing the mind and body. 1
